21 year old Dan White split up with his girlfriend Courtney Davies, who’s 19 years old, just last year.
Little did Dan know, that her family would end up winning £61 million on the lottery.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Courtney’s sister Stephanie, 23 years old, lives right next door to Dan with her boyfriend in Monmouth, South Wales.
Stephanie and her boyfriend will be sharing a whopping £12m themselves.

When asked about his first reaction, Dan had this to say: “All my mates are savaging me about this – the first I knew of their win was my phone going nuts. The boys were all sending me links and jokey snapchats asking if I was gutted. One said: ‘How much have you cried since you found out mate?’”

Mr. White actually wasn’t the one to end the relationship with Courtney. He had informed us that she had broken up with him by text just before she had moved to university in Southampton.
Sonia Davies, Courtney’s mother, had bought the ticket after beating cancer to celebrate.
Dan has jokingly stated that she should at least consider throwing him £2m for the 2 years that they had spent together.
